I once asked life!
I once asked life, isn’t it exhausting,
testing all of us each day?
Are you a mystery we need to live,
Or are you a thrilling chilling play?
You excite us, surprise us,
make us wonder what’s next,
It’s a feeling of the unknown,
the knowledge, almost flexed.
Life smiled at me and answered,
in its own enticing way,
Live me, love me, embrace me,
And feel my magic every day,
Surely, I’m a mystery,
a secret you need to unfold,
But I’m not a problem you can solve,
and not a burden you can behold.
Know that you have a purpose,
You may explore, seek or discord,
But set your whole heart upon your work,
And pay no heed for the reward.
Seek refuge in detachment,
Let your judgement be better, your vision be clear,
Let not your soul be entangled,
And my mystery will create no fear.
One day, you will be done with me,
And embark on a new journey from there,
Death waits with its open arms,
It is definite, inevitable, hardly a mystery
here.
This cycle of life and death,
And of manifesting another life form,
No effort is ever lost here,
And there is never any harm.
So, rejoice in the unknown,
in the beauty which lies underneath,
you will then be set free from all miseries,
woven in life and death wreath.

Totally majestic 👍
